Refrigerator Art

Spud's first artistic effort is proudly displayed on the fridge. He got some help with it. This is the first of many works in his portfolio, which will no doubt soon include a collage of dry macaroni painted with dazzling colors and sprinkled with glitter, and hand-shaped neon-orange Thanksgiving turkeys.

To answer your question, no I don't know what the hell it is a picture of.

  1. Questions in lieu of comments:
    1. What medium was used to create this work and is it titled?
    2. Does the artist anticipate expanding the oeuvre beyond the present production?
    3. Will reproductions be made available in the event this work should be sequestered in the artist's reserve collection?
    4. What was the artist eating when he was inspired to create this?
    5. Isn't it being displayed upside-down?
    6. Will the artist consider dabbling in the "rainbow palette" in future works?
    7. Will the work be shown in gallery; if so, when and where?

  2. Additional comment, please:
It looks like an impressionist rendering of the "Big Bang"; it appropriately has lots of smeary brown stuff in it, probably depicting emergent proto-life forms. (Benjamin is clearly an artist-savant.)
Or maybe it's a flashback to the after-effects of that prune-applesauce thing he ate last week.
Whatever it is, a printout of it is now hanging on Grandma and Grandpa's refrigerator in an inverted configuration. (We didn't see any claim of copyright, so we just assumed it was O.K.; you know, public domain stuff.)

  3. Cool picture! Looks like Daddy after one of his "bonfire parties" in the woods in Great Falls!
