The True and Amazing Adventures of a Tiny Human
It's an intriguing video, and I'm prompted by it (being an old guy who thinks about these things) to wonder about what the future holds for the subjects. It seems likely that in two decades, or less, corrupt demagogues and greedy oligarchs will be trying to persuade those precious children to kill each other over oil or diamonds or ideology. Let's hope that they're smarter than our generations and don't take the bait.
ReplyDeleteOlder-technology media gave us pause of the same kind: "Where have all the flowers gone ..."; "Teach your children well ...".
What are the odds that the human race will survive long enough to evolve beyond stupid gullibility?
Maybe the likes of You-Tube and Wiki-Leaks will help educate those babies to see through the fog of political scatology that seems to permeate our culture and society. Maybe enough of them will get it and be able to persuade their contemporaries.
Hope springs eternal. As long as there are babies, there is hope.
