New Year's Day at Ft. Myers Beach. Warm, tropical breezes. Sunshine and palm trees. And ice cream. All culminating in one of Benjamin's trademark Happy Dances.
Notice that he turns from eating my ice cream and quickly dances over to Mommy to gobble up some of hers as well. He soon returned to eat more of mine. He ate half of my cone, at least.
Happy dance became running amok, frozen momentarily in a surfer dude hang ten pose. Happy New Year!

"Happy Dances" are cool! No way to turn down a Happy Dancer when he wants ice cream. I think he has a 'strategery' here!

Gee whiz, Mom and Dad! What's a guy have to do to get his own cone? (O.K., so most of it will wind up on his shirt; he's a boy; it's what boys do.)
ReplyDeleteHappy Dancing isn't working, so DB will have to ratchet-up the act. Could a tarheel version of "you-might-be-a-redneck" do the trick? (If you can watch the green flag drop at Lowe's Motor Speedway, on your iPad, sitting courtside for a Duke tip-off against North Carolina, snacking on pork rinds, you might be a tarheel.)
Soft shoe in his crocs? Beat poetry? Classical guitar? Light opera? A one-kid performance of "The Iceman Cometh" or "Waiting for Godot"? "Paint Your Wagon"? "Oh, (insert Rebel yell here) Calcutta!" ? Not Shakespeare, Gott im himmel!
And please, no rap or hiphop.
We eagerly await forthcoming videos.
